Inaugural "Movie in the Pocket Park" draws in hundreds

The inaugural Main Street Batesville “Movie in the Pocket Park” drew in approximately 400 people to see “Hocus Pocus”. The event was presented by Main Street Batesville and Suddenlink by Altice.

With the success of the event, organizers are discussing options to have more movies shown for free in downtown Batesville. “The Pocket Park is such a great venue downtown and we’re looking forward to hosting more and more events in the space,” stated Mandi Curtwright, executive director for Main Street Batesville.
