As one of only fifteen Main Street programs statewide, we envision a revitalized, inviting, and vibrant historic downtown, filled to capacity and serving as the heart of the community, attracting local residents and tourists of all ages.
Our downtown has flourished and grown, due in part to the efforts of Main Street Batesville and other organizations which recognize the importance of preservation. While the work will never be complete, we are proud of our recent accomplishments.
Main Street Batesville receives no operational funding on the state or federal level. To continue to exist and grow, Main Street Batesville needs the support of the entire community. This support comes from local government, banks, corporations, area businesses, downtown merchants, property owners, and good neighbors like you.
